Jesus is Love Blog Hop

Hello Friends!

Welcome to my blog! and today we are sharing Jesus' Love for us to remind you all who loved us first in the world and gave his life for us to show how much.  Thanks for coming and have fun enjoying our stories and creations as we do our own interpretation of his love for us.

John 3:16 states that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son... Praise our Lord for loving us that he shed his blood for us to live a holy and blessed life...

I spent a lot of time thinking about how much Jesus loves me and how I can translate that to all of you. So I decided to do a couple of digital scrapbook pages showing the people God put in my life, so that he can work through me.

When I was a young girl, my cousin Jeanette invited me to church and my mother let me go. It was a church that I had never been to since we were a different religion. Once I walked in that door, all I can say is that my life has never been the same. I continued going to church throughout my young years and the church had a bus ministry, so they made sure to pick me up whenever there was church. That was with Bro. & Sis. Carnley they were my spiritual leaders. The night that I decided to fully give my life to God, their daughter Debbie helped pray me through to the Holy Ghost. I can't tell you how much my life changed after that. The Carnley's spent time teaching me what it meant to live a christian life. They provided me with the confidence to talk with others, sing and give mini lessons in front of the church. I can tell you that helped me to this day. The Carnley's decided it was time to leave the Fairbanks church, so the next chapter in my life began with Bro. & Sis. Parrish.

Bro. & Sis. Parrish, spent a lot of time with the young people at our church, they showed me that there was love and acceptance within the church. They were very generous with their love and time. I can't remember a time that when I needed something they weren't there for me. They helped me with my schooling, they helped me deal with some things at my home life. But of course as us young people grow up, we think we know everything. I met a man who was not in church and I was in love, so I married and moved away. I stopped going to church, but I can tell you that everything I was taught was never far behind. I still had a strong morale compass and never stopped praying. This helped me through some of the hardest times in my life, my marriage wasn't perfect. We were very young and I was alone in a different State and had a baby. I prayed all the time for guidance and understanding. I knew God was there helping me all along this part of my life. Years later my marriage ended after 18 years. I was sad and alone, but still would not give up. I still didn't go back to church because I felt that I can still be a Christian and not go to church. I know better now.

Two years later, I met a wonderful man and we got married. I had my beautiful 17 year old daughter and a great husband, but guess what God was not finished blessing me, after many years of thinking I could never have another child, he blessed me with a pregnancy. I had another beautiful daughter. Once she was born, I knew God was calling me back to church, back to the place where I felt the closest to him. For years I passed this little church, I had never been there, but I knew that I needed to go there. My husband didn't want to, because it was on the edge of a not so nice neighborhood. I would drive out of my way to see this church and kept having the urge to pull in there, but never did. My family and I went from church to church, but never found what we were looking for. I finally talked my husband into going to the little church on the corner. We went and never left, this is where we met Bro. & Sis. Sanders.

The Sanders are now my spiritual leaders. I appreciate their love for God and they guidance they give me and my family. God is using my family to reach people to share the love that God has for all of us.

I've said all that to say this.... God loved us so much, that he gave his only son to us, so that he can die for us so that we wouldn't have to know the pain of sin if we made choices. But guess what???? He does not stop there, he puts people in our lives that helps shape us. Each of the people I've talked about above, I know for a fact God placed them in my life because he love me, because he saw so much more for me. He wanted these people to help me see what I could do for him. God wants to do so much more for all of us, only if we let him.

It's my prayer that you are blessed by what I've said here. God is so wonderful and loves each of us if we let him. Lord Bless you All!
